Diploma in Pharmacy

The course of study in diploma in pharmacy offered by GRT Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (GRTIPER), Tiruttani, Thiruvallur district comprises of part-I and part-II. The curriculum and syllabus for the course is prescribed by pharmacy council of India, New Delhi. There shall be an examination in the first year on the subjects of part-I and an examination in the second year comprising the part-II subjects.The examination conducting authority is the Director of Medical Education, Chennai.

The diploma in pharmacy course of academic training is of 2 years duration with minimum of 180 working days per year followed by a practical training not less than 500 hours.

Bachelor of Pharmacy

The course of bachelor of pharmacy will extend over a period of four academic years. The curriculum and syllabus for the course is prescribed by pharmacy council of India, New Delhi. Each year is divided into two semesters of six months. The examination conducting authority is The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai.

The course of study of B. Pharm I^st, II^nd, III^rd, IV^th, V^th, VI^th, VII^th, and VIII^th semester will include the respective theory and practical subjects.
