The
KMCH College of Pharmacy, Coimbatore was established in the year 1995 by the
Kovai Medical Center Research and Educational Trust. It has been recognized by
the Government of Tamil Nadu, Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi and
Affiliated to the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai.
The
KMCH College of Pharmacy is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation
(NBA), New Delhi and ranked top 5 among the affiliated Pharmacy Colleges in the
State of National Institutional Ranking Frame Work (NIRF) ranking. The College
is attached with the one of the best tertiary care hospital in the state, the
Kovai Medical Center and Hospital, Coimbatore, a 1000 bed Multi-disciplinary
super specialty hospital. The hospital facilitates the World class clinical
training and exposure for the students of B. Pharmacy, M.Pharm (Pharmacy
Practice), Pharm D. (Doctor of Pharmacy) programs.

The
Kovai Medical Center Research and Educational Trust was established in the year
1990 with the goal of rendering quality education and training to the people of
India and the world. The Trust was envisioned by our trustees with the
single-minded objective of imparting education that is truly a class apart.
Today, that vision has culminated into a world class organization of repute,
rendering education to students from diverse cross-cultural backgrounds.
Having
grown from strength to strength, presently the Trust is running 10 Educational
Institutions in the field of Health Sciences, Arts & Science, Engineering

Trust Dr. Nalla G. Palaniswami, M.D. a Physician specialized in Endocrinology
and the Managing Trustee Dr. Thavamani D. Palaniswami, a Pediatrician and
Adolescent Care specialist. Their vast exposure and rich experience in the
field of Health care in India and Abroad conceived the idea of establishing
educational institutions on par with the developed countries. The world class
infrastructural, instructional facilities, meticulous planning, continuous
guidance and constant encouragement of our Chairpersons have evolved the Trust
and its associated institutions as one of the reputed group in the state.
