effective formulation. Pharmaceutics is the science of dosage form deals with
the formulation of a pure drug substance into a dosage form. Pharmaceutics
involves the tracks like drug delivery technologies, novel drug delivery
systems, routes of drug administration, pharmaceutical nanotechnology, Nano
pharmaceutics and advanced drug delivery, bio therapeutics as novel technique
in drug delivery, drug delivery device development and major challenges in drug
delivery.
The Pharmacy practice department providing
services to individual patients to optimize therapeutic outcomes (help patients
get the most benefit from their medications) and detect and prevent costly
medication problems, patient counseling, drug information center services,
pharmacovigilance, clinical research in disease management, community outreach
program and continuing pharmacy education program. The department also involved
in pharmaceutical care, pharmacogenomics and translational research.
M. Pharm in Pharmacology
Pharmacology is the program that mainly deals
with the science of drugs and their effect in the body. Pharmacology deception
at the heart of pharmacy linking together chemistry, physiology and pathology.
The department cooperates closely with other disciplines including
pharmaceutical medicinal chemistry, phytochemistry, analytical chemistry,
neuroscience, molecular and cell biology, immunology and cancer biology. The
role of pharmacology is to discover new medicine to fight against physiological
changes and disease, improving effectiveness of medication, reducing adverse
effects of the medication.
M. Pharm in Pharmaceutical Analysis
